Robo Calls

Robots are used by companies to save
money by not hiring real live people!
No wonder that there is so much
unemployment, everyone is using robots!

However, robots cannot tell if a real person
or an answering machine is on the line, and
therefore we have a machine asking a machine
to punch numbers on a phone! This is nuts!

A recording will start with the pitch and then
the answering machine is instructed to press 1 for
a live operator, or to press 2 to disconnect!



Robo calls to collect debts
asking for someone who does
not live here to call back.
Iowa Revenue does this a lot
as have many other agencies!



Yellow Book called asking my
answering machine to answer yes
or no as to whether it got a phone book.
"That was not a valid response"
"I am unable to understand your call"
To the lack of responses from my machine!
Robot starts talking before my machine records!




Liberty Medical robot starts talking
before my answering machine is ready to
record asking it to press 1 if it is
the patient or the patient representative .
